Access 2 Place (A2P), is a Tier 2 not-for-profit disability community housing provider registered to provide Specialist Disability Accommodation under the NDIS. The General Manager, Finance is responsible for overseeing and directing the financial operations of A2P, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and providing strategic financial leadership to support organisational growth and objectives.

The role will report directly to the CEO to develop and implement financial strategies to optimise the financial and operational capabilities of the organisation. Through providing effective leadership and a hands on approach the role will provide oversight and lead the financial, accounting, banking and payroll services that comply with legislative requirements and contribute to the financial sustainability, goals and objectives of A2P.

The role includes a wide range of functions including

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Driving commercial and investment decision making, through effective financial analysis and building strong commercial relationships.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
